Join the Glengarry Pioneer Museum's Curator for a guided tour of artifacts and historical records which create a tangible link to our pioneering past. A special MacCrimmon family display and scavenger hunt will be featured in celebration of the 200th anniversary of the farm's founding. A visit to the museum provides an understanding of the culture and the way of life of our pioneering ancestors who settled in the area experienced. This museum visit and tour will be an opportunity to step into the past and allow present generations to appreciate the experiences of their ancestors.
The area in which the Museum covers is primarily Glengarry County, the oldest in what was Upper Canada, now Ontario. All artifacts, whether archival documents, photographs, objects or even oral histories are items which have some link to this area and are predominantly from the 19th century.
